Lying on a bed of warm sand, this sensory relaxation experience takes guests from darkness to sunrise to peak sunshine and then back to sunset in the comfort of a spa at any time of the year! Relaxing music and essential oils complete the ‘holiday’ experience. It is the perfect way to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and to top up Vitamin D levels via gentle UV rays, helping beat winter blues and stimulate the metabolism. You as the operator set the parameters and sessions can last from 20-45 minutes. Sabbia Med provides the operator with a chargeable area that adds visible revenue to relaxation spaces whilst giving guests a true wellbeing experience. Great for packages and offers an alternative non-hands on treatment for busy periods. Room sizes can cater from 4 – 20 guest depending on space and budget. Rooms can also be configured with heated loungers as a substitute for sand – see image gallery.
