The Kraxenstove® is an innovative adaptation of the traditional alpine hay bath utilising its soothing and well known benefits in a modern way. When the guest is seated, heat rises through the hay pads placed behind the guest and the essence of alpine hay spreads up from behind the comfortable heated seats. The core area of the body is being heated throughout which is the most important part to concentrate on. To maximise the benefits, the guest is enveloped in a disposable sheet throughout to maintain the warmth during the experience. The characteristic essence is released from the essential oils (cumarine) in the hay and, combined with the pleasant warmth, has a soothing and invigorating effect whilst unblocking the respiratory passages and warming the body. A great pre-treatment to prepare the guest (and to soften the soft tissues for the therapist) as part of a package.
