The Stonebath® is a thermal experience like no other providing memorable and truly effective wellbeing benefits for your guests. In summary, mineral stones held in an iron basket are heated to high temperatures in an oven and every few minutes will be raised dramatically by a mechanical iron lever before dipping into a cauldron of cold water. This fusion of heat and water creates a theatrical sizzling noise as the resulting steam raises and is distributed into the room. The basket later returns to the oven and after a few minutes the cycle starts again giving the guest time to acclimatise and enjoy the experience once again. The Stonebath® works incredibly well as a stand-alone thermal room or can be used in a sequence with other hot and cold experiences in larger spas and wellbeing centres. Be different whist making a difference to your guests experience. The Stonebath® can be designed as a stone or wooden room using traditional or modern materials of your choice to fit your spa’s decor.
