Salve-in-terra® is a truly unforgetable sensory experience which can be enjoyed by couples, friends or individual guests. The ritual begins as the guests select their own scented mud and oil mixture (blended by a therapist to a creme consistency) before entering the private steam chamber and lie face up on a warm comfortable plinth. The treatment begins when the lights dim and warm steam infuses the room along with music personally selected by the guest via an innovative hand held cube. As the steam fills the room, the plinth begins to sway from side to side, coating the mud all over the guests bodies absorbing into and moisturing the skin. At the end of the ceremony, guests will be cleansed with their pre-selected showering choice of either warm tropical rainshower or a refreshing ice rainshower. The length of treatment can be controlled by the operator, however 30- 45 minutes is the average time used in spa and wellbeing centres. We suggest providing a private area outside the cabin to allow the guests to rest once the expertience is over and to fully maximise the treatments effect. A self-cleaning system cleans the chamber between treatments to increase operational efficiency. This experience is not currently available in the UK, however we can arrange for treatments to be experienced in European spas upon request.
